ADGM FSRA: Today
The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of ADGM has finalised enhancements to its regulatory framework for anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, counter-proliferation financing and sanctions compliance (AML Framework). The formalisation of the updated framework follows industry engagement and feedback received in response to Consultation Paper (CP) No. 1 of 2026.
The amendments include appropriate revisions to the Financial Services and Markets Regulations 2015 (FSMR) and the Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions Rulebook (the AML Rulebook) to reflect developments in federal laws and align with evolving international best practices, including the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). As such, the enhancements will have minimal impact on existing compliance requirements, as reflected by most of the industry feedback received during the consultation period.
