Build through 13.8 billion years of history.
Following a summer beneath the ocean, Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi (NHMAD) is opening its next chapter with the world’s first LEGO® SHOWS Natural Brickstory experience, launching on 21 August.
Build Through Natural History
The limited-time exhibition invites visitors to build their way through 13.8 billion years of natural history. The experience combines hands-on LEGO brick activities with the museum’s specimens and scientific stories, taking visitors through themed zones inspired by Earth’s history, wildlife and the cosmos.
Collaborative builds transform complex scientific ideas into something visitors can explore and create for themselves. Additional trails and workshops will extend the experience across the museum, with more highlights to be announced.
Learning Through Play
The collaboration builds on LEGO’s long history of using play to make science more accessible. Previous initiatives have included nature-focused activities with London’s Natural History Museum and space-inspired sets developed with NASA.
At Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, the same approach places imagination at the heart of learning, encouraging visitors of all ages to engage with science in a new way.
From LEGO bricks to billion-year-old fossils, the experience brings natural history to life—one brick at a time.
