Three magical worlds. One global first. Coming to Yas Island.
A World First
Every existing Harry Potter land is part of a Universal theme park, and none has brought Hogwarts Castle and Diagon Alley together in the same park. Abu Dhabi will be the first, creating an entirely indoor experience designed for year-round exploration.

Three Worlds to Explore
The expansion will bring three of the Wizarding World’s most recognisable locations to life: Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest.
The Forbidden Forest is perhaps the biggest departure from existing Harry Potter attractions. Home to centaurs, Aragog’s spider colony and thestrals in the stories, it opens up an entirely different kind of immersive experience beyond the familiar streets and shops of the Wizarding World.

The Ride Nobody Saw Coming
The reveal also offered a clue about what could be one of the expansion’s standout attractions: the Weasleys’ turquoise Ford Anglia.
The flying car’s unforgettable journey in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has never been turned into a ride at an existing Harry Potter theme park, making its prominent appearance in the Abu Dhabi reveal particularly interesting.
Part of a Bigger Expansion
The Harry Potter lands form part of a major expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, alongside the previously announced DC attractions Kryptonite Collider and Superman Up and Away.
Together, the expansion will add approximately 70,000 square metres of new theme park space, increasing the park’s overall size by more than 50% and further strengthening Yas Island’s growing entertainment offering.
When Does Hogwarts Open?
Construction of all three Harry Potter-themed lands is targeted for completion in 2029.
For a generation that grew up waiting for a Hogwarts letter that never arrived, Abu Dhabi may be about to offer the next best thing.
