    For the third edition of their joint conference, ADGM and ICSID are gathering world experts in Abu Dhabi on 24 April 2024 to discuss the settlement of international energy disputes in the Middle East. Specialists in the field will explore the structuring of investments in the energy sector and the resolution of both investment and commercial disputes amidst global concerns related to energy security, the energy transition, rapid technological changes, and geopolitical uncertainties.

    In this Ted-style-talk, Mr. Farhad will give an overview of how energy disputes have been at the heart of international dispute resolution, including in the Middle East, and what international arbitration can do to resolve such disputes when geopolitical tensions rise.
