This letter outlines the key findings, outcomes, and observations, with a focus on evaluating the effectiveness of firms’ policies, procedures, systems, and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with the applicable regulations.
In 2023, the Financial Service Regulatory Authority (FSRA) conducted a thematic review to assess the compliance of Authorised Persons with ADGM Regulations and Rules, as well as relevant UAE Federal Legislation related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Targeted Financial Sanctions (TFS). This letter sets out the overall observations arising from the Review.
Following FSRA’s letter sent to all Authorised Persons on 26 April 2022 the FSRA has completed its Review and herein this letter sets out the Findings and Outcomes.
