Agenda to include seven panels and more than thirty speakers to discuss innovations that will shape the future of the industry
26 September 2017, Abu Dhabi, UAE: Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the International Financial Centre in Abu Dhabi, announced today the line-up for the much anticipated inaugural FinTech Abu Dhabi event in the region, featuring distinguished regional and international leaders in FinTech.
Taking place on 22 and 23 October 2017, FinTech Abu Dhabi will have a full two day programme that includes a Welcome Reception, Regulatory Roundtable, Workshops, Innovation ChallengeDemo Day, and FinTech Awards presentation as part of the Summit.

The invitation-only event will give attendees valuable opportunities for networking with some of the industry's most established and experienced financial leaders and entrepreneurs. The  finest minds in the sector will come together to discuss the latest innovations and developments that will shape the future of the industry - and drive forward developments in touchpoints that both business and consumers encounter on a daily basis.

The FinTech Abu Dhabi event will also bring together selected FinTech finalists to compete in a global Innovation Challenge, shining a spotlight on those who have innovative solutions to take on some of the looming problems the industry will face in the future. The line-up for the Summit Agenda includes curated panels, workshops, fireside chats and keynote speeches.

FinTech Abu Dhabi offers valuable opportunities for networking and the sharing of ideas. Central to the FinTech Abu Dhabi agenda, and a huge draw for local and international delegates, will be the keynote speeches set for day two of the event, which will feature talks on topics including rules for disruptors, breaking down the barriers to a cashless society to future of FinTech growth in the region.

Panels across the two day gathering include an exploration of Abu Dhabi's role in the global FinTech narrative, efforts to establish the MENA region as an international innovation hub, and future investment in FinTech innovations. Meanwhile, more intimate 'fireside chat' style discussions will look at local entrepreneurship close to home, and connectivity of the future, such as open APIs and distributed ledger technology.

Understanding Regulatory Technology and its Impact

Delegates of FinTech Abu Dhabi can also look forward to a roundtable conversation where regional regulators debate, probe and share the role of regulators in financial innovation.
