    A vibrant retail, dining and lifestyle destination

    Establishing a retail presence within the IFC is quick and easy via the ADGM Registration Authority, an independent body with the power to license and register all ADGM entities.

    To learn more about the steps involved in establishing a presence and incorporating a company in ADGM, please read the guidance notes below in conjunction with the relevant legislation.

    Please note: All retail businesses are required to obtain an Abu Dhabi government authorities approval prior to operating their business. Review the list of government authorities and applicable activities to learn more.

    Registration fees:

    Fees for registration and incorporation are in US dollars. The registration fees to establish a retail business in ADGM are as follows.

    Create a brief store concept document (an overview of what the retail business will be doing). This will be submitted along with your online application for Category C - Retail business activities.

    Create a profile

    Create a profile and review the documentation requirements for the online application process.

    Application Process Step 2
    Submit application

    Fill out the required forms, via the online registry solution and submit the application, required documentation and payment, using a Visa or MasterCard.

    Application Process Step 3
    Notification

    Once you have submitted your application, you will be able to view the status from your dashboard on the online registry solution. You will be informed of any changes required on your application (if any) via email, and you will receive a notification following the Registrar’s final decision.

    Licence issuance

    If successful, you will receive a soft copy of your licence via email.
