Investor State Mediators Panel

The ADGM Arbitration Centre and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) have collaborated to establish an Investor State Mediators Panel.

This collaboration arose out of a shared view that Investor State mediation is a burgeoning area and one of increasing interest to States and Investors. Traditionally, Investor State disputes have been resolved through arbitration administered by recognized global arbitral institutions. However, the need for greater flexibility and creative resolution options in managing these disputes have brought mediation to the fore as a very viable and effective means to achieve a settlement.

The Panel consists of experienced IS Mediators available to parties around the globe. Appointment to the panel was by invitation only and based on criteria such as extensive mediation experience, and experience and training in IS disputes.
