In arbitration, the parties often have a role in selecting the arbitrator or arbitrators who will decide their dispute.
This is one of the most important decisions parties make in an arbitration, given the final and binding nature of an arbitral award. The quality and approach of the
arbitrator can have a significant impact on the way arbitration proceedings are conducted, particularly in regard to ensuring that the process is expeditious, fair and
cost-effective.
To assist parties with arbitrator selection, the ADGM Arbitration Centre has published a panel of arbitrators who are willing to sit in ADGM. The panel is not
exclusive – meaning parties are free to choose an arbitrator who is not listed on the panel for any arbitration conducted in ADGM. The panel has been provided as
a tool that parties and their advisors can use to assist with arbitrator selection.

Inclusion on the panel is by invitation from the ADGM Arbitration Centre or upon application. Persons wishing to
be considered for inclusion on the panel are required to complete an application form and email it to
enquiry@adgmac.com. Inclusion on the panel is at the sole discretion of the ADGM Arbitration Centre.
The closing date for the next round of applications for possible inclusion on the panel will be 30 November 2024.
